We offer an intimate, one day glassblowing glass with a MAXIMUM of two students and two instructors. (Students must be 18yrs of age.) Classes are 4hrs long and students will alternate working at the bench giving you a quick break in-between pieces to rest, get some water or a quick snack. You can expect to make between 3-4 glass pieces.

All glasswork takes 24-48hrs to cool off and additional grinding will be needed to remove any sharp edges, this will be done by the instructor. You will need to make arrangements for the work to be picked up at a minimum of 4 days post class. If you are visiting from out of town and can not collect the work in person, we can make arrangements for the work to be shipped.

Working in a hot shop is EXCITING and we are thrilled to teach about the working of the shop and how to handle molten glass. Our furnace has a working temp of 1170 degrees C, so safety is KEY when working in this kind of environment.

Once you’ve registered for the class, we will send you a course outline including all of the necessary clothing and safety gear you will need. We will provide eye protection, tools and glovers but all students MUST follow clothing and footwear requirements.

Cost is $450 per student. Two students are required to run the class. Each student should fill out the registration form on the checkout page, if you are paying for two students in one checkout, we will email you a registration form for the second student to fill out. Students must be at least 18 years old.
