There is an old tradition in Celtic and European folklore of telling the bees when there is a death or other major event in the family. Bees also represent a healthy ecosystem, gardening, and food production and nourishment. This round orb has a golden honeycomb surface with a window cut in to reveal a swirl of ashes and a sepia bee drawing fused onto it. Available in 3” and 3.5” diameters, the larger size is a substantially larger piece.
