We have created a large selection of designs to suit every taste from small and delicate to larger and substantial. A small amount of ashes is permanently encased in the molten glass. All settings, findings, and chains are sterling silver unless otherwise noted.
May 23 2025- Canada Post is experiencing a labour dispute and while they are still operating now, labour disruptions may escalate. If you have selected Canada Post as your shipping option and there is a service interruption happening when your order is ready to ship we will contact you regarding alternate shipping options and costs.

Please ensure your shipping address is completed in full including unit # if applicable. Shipments that are returned due to incomplete address are subject to returned parcel and additional shipping fees.
We are currently accepting Ashes to Art orders via our web store, email, phone or in person on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 4pm.
Colour options vary by design and artist, the whole rainbow of colours is available, we can approximate a birthstone or a favourite colour upon request.
NOTE: Not all designs are open to colour changes. If you have a specific request, make a note during check out and the artist will contact you to discuss further.
Ashes may be dropped off to us in person during our regular retail hours Fridays and Saturdays 11-4, or by appointment.
If you are mailing in your ashes here is what you need to know:
We request 1 tsp of ash/piece. Not all of the ash will be used due to limitations of the material itself and all unused ash will be returned unless requested otherwise.
Please DOUBLE BAG the ashes, this is to ensure it does not open while in transit. Please label the ashes with the order number or name of the deceased.

Please include your full name and contact information inside the envelope. We advise using a pre-paid Canada Post Expresspost bubble envelope as this includes a tracking number, guaranteed delivery time and is kept out of the big sorting machines. Additionally, you may send the ashes via a courrier like UPS or FedEx with a tracking number. We do not advise sending ashes via regular mail. Please hold onto your tracking number until the ashes have been received and we will notify you via email as soon as we have received the ashes.
Order Completion
Allow 8-10 weeks from receipt of ashes for order completion.
Actual turnaround times vary based on order volume and studio schedule
Orders are added to the production schedule upon payment and receipt of ashes
Please inform us of specific deadlines, though we cannot guarantee the work will be ready, will do our very best to work with you.
Pickup Options
Indicate studio pickup on the order form and select "Pick Up At Fireweed Glass Studio" as the shipping option.
We are open regular retail hours on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays from 11am to 4pm.
